An example. Elena Vasari is a fictional designer; this is what a designer’s room looks like.

The breakfast room
Placed through the house
The briefOne room for breakfast that guests remember after they have gone home.
The owners wanted the breakfast room to be the reason guests came back. The tables were joined into one, laid with linen over the old oak, and the chairs were matched to it rather than to each other. The garden side was left open in the morning. The end wall, the one the light reaches last, was kept empty through the whole works for a single painting from the house, chosen once the room could be stood in.
