II · Where your $3,500 goes
$2,695 goes to Vincent van Gogh.
The house keeps 23 — the number that was waiting for us. We were both born on a 23rd, the idea arrived on a 23rd, and Stendhal himself was born on the 23rd of January. Payment processing, by card or bank transfer, is added at checkout, paid by the buyer, and never taken from the artist's share.
III · About the artist
Vincent van Gogh
The Netherlands
He sold one painting in his lifetime. He painted over nine hundred. Van Gogh is the patron saint of Stendhal's mission — proof of what the world loses when an artist is seen too late.
