III · Where your $6,400 goes
$4,928 goes to J. M. W. Turner.
The house keeps 23 — the number that was waiting for us. We were both born on a 23rd, the idea arrived on a 23rd, and Stendhal himself was born on the 23rd of January. Payment processing, by card or bank transfer, is added at checkout, paid by the buyer, and never taken from the artist's share.
IV · About the artist
J. M. W. Turner
England
British, 1775–1851. Turner pushed landscape toward pure light and atmosphere, prefiguring Impressionism by a generation.
